MILTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Curry College students protested against reported incidents of hate crimes on campus.
The Milton liberal arts school reported “isolated incidents” of graffiti on campus in the past week.
One student said that a series of hate crimes targeted a transgender student.
Protesters took to the streets in the pouring rain to say more needed to be done to protect every student on campus.
“No one is getting any repurcussions for this,” a female student said. “We don’t find about an incident until a week or probably a month or two later. We should know immediately.”
