BOSTON (WHDH) - The MBTA reports the Orange Line is experiencing severe delays Monday morning due to a medical emergency at North Station.

The MBTA first reported the medical emergency shortly after 8:30 a.m. this morning, tweeting that passengers should expect moderate delays.
After a half hour, the transportation service sent out the tweet stating delays would be severe.
It is not yet known what the medical emergency is and when it may be resolved.
