One person was shot inside a Blue Line train and a second person was shot on the platform at the Maverick MBTA station on Tuesday.
According to Transit Police, two men on an inbound Blue Line Train engaged in a verbal confrontation.
At some point it turned physical, one man pulled out a firearm and fired two shots inside the train.
One man is reported to have been shot in the back, the other over his eye.
The fight then spilled out onto the platform, officials said.
Two victims, who 29 and a 43 years old, were located on the platform and sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a local area, according to transit police.

Officials have no suspect information to share at this time.

The MBTA is reporting severe delays on the Blue Line as a result of the police action. Shuttle buses are currently replacing Blue Line service between Airport and Bowdoin Stations at this time.

Police say they believe the two men involved in the original fight knew each other.
The two men who were shot remain in the hospital.
MBTA police are still searching for the suspect.
