Belmont firefighters extinguished a pickup truck that went up in flames early Friday morning.
Fire crews responded to the intersection of Thomas and Waverly streets about 5:20 a.m., according to Belmont police.
The fire, which was blamed on mechanical issues, was quickly extinguished and no one was hurt.
At 05:20AM this morning, Belmont PD and Fire responded to a motor vehicle on fire due to mechanical issues. No one was hurt and the driver was able to get out of his truck!
