Police identify man killed in Mattapan shooting

BOSTON (WHDH) - MATTAPAN, MA (WHDH) — Police have now identified the man who was killed in a shooting in Mattapan on June 24.

The shooting happened  on Doone Avenue Friday afternoon.

The city’s shotspotter, which detects gunshots, alerted police.

When officers arrived, they found Jermaine Good, 43 of Boston, dead in the street.

No arrests have been made at this time, but police believe the shooting may have been the result of a domestic dispute.
