The NBA has fined the Raptors $25,000 for a comment made by rapper Drake about Kevin Druant during last week’s concert in Toronto.
ESPN reported that Drake, the team’s global ambassador, encouraged fans to show Durant what reaction he would get if he decided to play for Toronto. Durant is still under contract to play for Oklahoma City.
The NBA said the incident violated the rule against tampering.
