An East Providence man used the snow from this weekend’s storm to build a massive sculpture and honor a Rhode Island boy with cancer.

Dorian Murray, 8, is battling cancer and his dying wish is to be famous. The hashtag #DStrong has been shared via social media around the world to support him and thousands of people even gathered on the beach in Westerly to spell out the hashtag for a photo.

Anthony Ottone incorporated the Patriots into his #DStrong sculpture since Dorian is a Patriots fan and recently got a visit from Rob Gronkowski. He said he was inspired to build the sculpture by his father, who recently passed away.

"I recently lost my father, who was a cancer sufferer. And obviously, like everybody else, we’ve been seeing the #DStrong on Facebook and figured it was my chance to give him a little bit to make him famous like he wanted to," said Ottone.

Ottone plans to add boxing gloves to the sculpture to symbolize Dorian’s fight against cancer.
