BOSTON (WHDH) - A state trooper was rushed to the hospital after an SUV crashed into a police cruiser on Interstate 93-Southbound Thursday night.
Officials say the crash occurred sometime before midnight on the Thanksgiving holiday, in the stretch of I-93 SB in Boston before Exit 11.
The trooper was transported to a hospital in the area with minor injuries, and is expected to be OK.
The back of the cruiser was smashed up, but much of the car remained in tact.
The driver stayed on the scene and officials are investigating the crash.
