WAYNESBURG, Penn. (WHDH) — Residents in western Pennsylvania are cleaning up after heavy rain caused a nearby creek to rise and flood nearby towns.

The flooding left homes and businesses underwater.

“It’s terrible, this is the third time in 17 years,” said business owner Jerry Cook. “The last time, it was to the gutters.”

Several cars were also left stranded in the floodwaters on Route 21.
