WEYMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) - Police in Weymouth are looking for the public’s assistance identifying a person and vehicle involved in a bold mid-day theft of a cash register.
Police say the RK Mart on Broad Street in Weymouth was the target of the robbery.
According to the report, one person – a black male – distracted the clerk, while another person – a white male – took the cash register and walked out of the store.
That person was captured on a surveillance video.
Security cameras caught the vehicle as well, driven by another white male.
Police are searching for the suspects as well as the vehicle, an older-model Ford Explorer/Mercury Mountaineer that is tan, brown and grey.
