Biography
Kimberly Bookman is an enterprising reporter who joined 7News in August, 2014. Her reporting was the first to highlight the Boston Police officer now considered the fifth fatal victim of the Boston Marathon attacks.
Kimberly is a Needham native and Needham High School graduate. In 2015, she was honored with NHS’s George A. Dennett Distinguished Career Award for her achievements in broadcasting.
She previously reported in Manchester, NH, Baltimore, MD, Spartanburg, SC and Elmira, NY.
Kimberly is proud to support the charitable work of The Home For Little Wanderers, The Pine Street Inn, Project Bread, The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Dress for Success (DFS). In 2014, DFS honored her with a “Standing Strong” award.
Kimberly received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from American University in Washington, DC.
