LOS ANGELES (NBC) — Remaining contestants on “America’s Got Talent” will start taking the stage “live” Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

The Dolby Theater, home of the Oscars, will start hosting potential stars of the future.

The first 12 of 36 qualifiers hit the stage tonight, ranging from a 90-year-old burlesque dancer to a magician from the NFL to a teenage comedian.

“It all happens in front of America. There’s no editing. There’s nothing we can do,” host Nick Cannon says.

It’s left to the acts to shine and earn America’s vote to stay in the hunt for $1 million.
