BOSTON (WHDH) - The presidential portraits of former First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Barack Obama are on view at the Museum of Fine Arts.

The Obama portraits went on display at the MFA Saturday and will call the museum home until October 30.

Tickets for the portraits are available via timed admission tickets.

The painting’s time at the MFA is the final leg of “The Obama Portraits Tour” that started in 2021 and has stopped in Chicago, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston and San Francisco.

Barack Obama’s portrait by Kehinde Wiley and Michelle Obama’s by Amy Sherald were first unveiled in 2018, and mark the first portraits commissioned from African Americans by the National Portrait Gallery for a president and first lady, the MFA said.

The museum is offering free admission to all exhibits, including the portraits, on Labor Day, Monday, September 19, Indigenous People’s Day and Sunday, October 30.
