MADBURY, N.H. (WHDH) - Four family members were found dead inside a home in Madbury, New Hampshire, Monday night.
SKY 7 HD was over the scene as homicide detectives collected evidence from a home on Moharimet Drive in Madbury.
Authorities say a husband and wife were found dead along with their 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter shot to death. The couple’s third child, a toddler, was found alive and wasn’t hurt.
Investigators say the scene could be a murder-suicide.
The community of just under 2,000 residents, a town with no gas station, no convenience store, no traffic lights, is shaken to its core.
Investigators are working to try and piece together what led up to all of this, who the shooter was, when it happened, and above all, why it happened.
Residents are gripped in grief trying to process the unimaginable, the loss of a family that came without warning.
