The Boston Duck Tours company said it has suspended a second driver after receiving new information about his driving history.

Boston Duck Tours said the RMV reviewed all 58 of their drivers and one record concerned them. The company said the driver had eight incidents on his personal driving record since the company hired him back in 2003. He is now off the job, pending a review.

This is the second Duck Boat driver who is off the job in two weeks. Another driving was suspended last week following a fatal crash involving a woman driving a motorized scooter. The woman was killed and her passenger injured.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said Boston Duck Tours is doing the right thing.

"I commend Duck Boats for taking it upon themselves to do an investigation of their drivers and suspend another driver," said Walsh. "I think public safety is the number one important thing for the company but also for the city of Boston."
