BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — A second teenager has been arrested in the death of a 14-year-old Bridgeport boy whose body was found in a wooded area last week.

The 14-year-old suspect surrendered to police Monday night in the murder of Jose Nunez, Capt. Brian Fitzgerald of the Bridgeport police said.

The teen, whose name was not released because of his age, admitted he played a role in Nunez’s death, police said. He was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder and is being held at a juvenile detention center.

Diante Willoughby, 19, was charged earlier with the murder of Nunez and is being held on a $2 million bond.

Nunez was reported missing by his mother on July 28. His body was found in a wooded area in Oxford the following day.

Police said they do not anticipate any additional arrests in the death.
