ALTON, N.H. (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who drowned while fishing in a pond in Alton, New Hampshire.

Officials say two men had been fishing Wednesday morning when their canoe tipped. Raymond Tam, of Malden, Massachusetts, fell overboard. His fishing partner, Mo Wong, of Portsmouth, was unable to rescue him and called 911.

A New Hampshire Fish and Game dive team responded and searched the pond.

Tam was found about seven hours later.
