The Blue Angels are back in the skies, performing for the first time since losing one of their team members.

They flew at the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, Michigan.

Instead of six planes, the Angels are using five to honor Captain Jeff Kuss, who died in a crash a month ago.

Also in the air is Fat Albert, the Angels’ C-1-30.

Fans were anxious to see the show filled with loops, rolls and turns, and speeds reaching 700 miles per hour.

The Angels will also perform Sunday and Monday.
