BOSTON (WHDH) - Eight passengers on a Delta flight to Boston were treated on the tarmac and three more were taken to the hospital.
The plane made an emergency landing in Portugal Sunday, flying from Barcelona, Spain.
Delta said the landing was due to a mechanical issue.
A spokesperson from Portugal said it was caused by smoke in the cabin.
