History repeated itself Saturday, after the Bostonian Society re-enacted the Boston Massacre.

Hundreds of people attended the free event Saturday evening at the old State House.

Saturday marked the 246th anniversary in which British soldiers opened fire on protesting colonists, killing five.

The bloody massacre took place in 1770.

It was a propaganda attempt by colonists who wanted to break ties with Britain.
