The Coast Guard searched for a missing person on Friday in the water in Eastham.
The Coast Guard was notified by Eastham Police Department around 8:30 a.m. about a missing person in the water.
The Coast Guard station in Provincetown launched a 29-foot response boat crew and the Air Station Cape Cod launched a MH-60 Jayhawk air crew to help in the search.
The Wellfleet Harbormaster, Eastham Fire Department, Orleans Fire Department, Wellfleet Fire Department and four good Samaritans are currently searching Wellfleet Harbor and Billingsgate Shoal areas.
