Thousands of Comcast customers had problems with their cable and Internet Monday after a nationwide outage.

According to Comcast’s website, the outage reports began Monday morning. The reports were nationwide, though a lot were concentrated in the Northeast.

While some Internet outages were reported, the majority of reports seemed to be about unavailable cable channels. Comcast said everything should be back up and running for its customers.

On Monday, Comcast released a statement about the reported outages:

"We have repaired the temporary network interruption that impacted some of our services this morning. Our engineers continue to work on this issue and almost all services have already been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers."

It is not known what caused all of the issues.
