Firefighters battled a fire Sunday at an apartment on Veterans Road in Dedham.
Officials said the fire started in the apartment’s kitchen just before 6 a.m. Sunday. Everyone in the apartment escaped safely.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but firefighters believe the apartment’s stove may have been left on.
