A film crew filmed a scene at TD Garden Tuesday night for an upcoming movie about Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman.
The movie, "Stronger," is based on Bauman’s memoir and production began this week. After Tuesday’s Bruins game, the crew filmed a scene featuring Jake Gyllenhaal, who plays Bauman. Fans who attended the game were given the option to stick around for the filming.
Bauman lost both legs in the 2013 bombing. He was honored by the Bruins as a banner captain at the Garden during a playoff game a month after the bombing.
Miranda Richardson and Clancy Brown just signed on to play Bauman’s parents.
