SAUGUS, MASS. (WHDH) - Disturbing details of an alleged Saugus sexual assault that was shared on social media app Snapchat were shown to jurors Wednesday as the trial continued.
Sydnee Enos, 18, took the stand Wednesday, testifying about the graphic images from video she saw on her cellphone sent through the app in 2014.
She said she was shocked after seeing her then 16-year-old friend being sexually assaulted in the woods behind a Saugus school.
Rashad Deihim, 21, and Kaylin Bonia, 20, are charged with assault, attempted rape and kidnapping.
Another teen who sent the videos to Enos pleaded guilty in March to filming the assault.
Enos said because images and videos on the app self-delete, she decided to screen-shot the images from the videos.
Under cross examination, Enos admitted she had not spoken to the victim for two years prior to the incident in the woods.
Defense attorneys said the alleged victim was a willing participant.
The victim is expected to take the stand Thursday.
