A Maine mother drove around with a message on the back of her car: she was asking for a kidney and hoped someone would call.
Josh Dall-Leighton saw the message and reached out to the woman.
The father of two boys will donate one of his kidneys to a woman he only just met.
“Honestly, it was just a gut reaction. I just knew in my heart it was the right thing to do and I think having children really resonated with me,” said Dall-Leighton.
The community has created a GoFundMe page for when Dall-Leighton is out of work.
He and his wife said the whole experience will be an example for their kids that good deeds will go far.
