BROOKLINE, Mass. (WHDH) — One man was arrested after police in Brookline said he broke a local by-law banning leaf blower use during the summer.

Police said when the confronted the man he refused to identify himself or listen to the officer.

“This person, something transpired on date and time, it really isn’t too well articulated in the report other than fact than it says person failed to comply with wishes of officer to identify himself,” an officer from the Brookline Police Department said.

A second man who was working at the scene was cited for his leaf blower use.
