A husband and wife couple is facing charges for allegedly stealing more than $100,000 in jewelry.

Jacob Stibs, 37, and Lauren Stibs, 30 are each facing charges.

Jacob is facing 10 counts of theft by deception along with 10 counts of receiving or possession of stolen property, according to police.

Lauren Stibs is facing charges of receiving or possession of stolen property, police said.

The couple was arrested on Feb. 13 after a months-long investigation.

Police say the pair stole jewelry from a 70-year-old woman with whom they were neighbors.

According to police, the victim said Jacob Stibs had previously worked odd jobs around her home in summer 2014 and at several points in 2015.

In August 2015, the victim realized she was missing more than $500 cash and she was unable to locate her jewelry.

Police say the victim recovered most of the stolen items. However, other items were sold at nearby pawn shops before police began their investigation, according to police.

The couple was in court on Tuesday.
