Marty Walsh at White House to highlight free-tuition plan for low-income students

WASHINGTON (WHDH) - Boston Mayor Marty Walsh will be at the White House Wednesday where he will highlight a new initiative to offer free tuition to low income students.

Last spring Walsh announced the plan that will allow low-income graduates with at least a 2.2 grade point average to be eligible for free tuition for community colleges in the area.

The colleges include Roxbury Community College or Bunker Hill Community College.
