HANSON, MASS. (WHDH) - State officials responded to Hanson Monday following the report of military ordnance found in Hanson.
Officials say the item was found at the Hanson town dump.
The State Police bomb squad assisted with the item shortly after 9 a.m.
The bomb squad took possession of the item. It was then given to officials at the US Navy to be disposed of.
