Who says you can’t find gorgeous purebred dogs at your local animal shelter! Two-year-old Beagle Amelia is a lively and spirited girl who would love to make her special adopter’s house a home. Like many beagles, Amelia is quite vocal so her adopter shouldn’t mind a bit of barking, and she needs some basic beginner obedience training. But then this diamond in the rough will be one special pet. She likes kids and hopes her forever home is right around the corner.

The MSPCA-Angell Adoption Center in Boston is located at 350 South Huntington Avenue in Jamaica Plain. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
