A 12-year-old boy got behind the wheel of a van and led police on a high-speed chase through the streets of Bangor, Maine.
Newly released police dash-cam video showed the chase that took place in late June.
At times during the chase, police said the van was going about 55 miles-per-hour, and ran through red lights and stop signs.
Police were able to stop the vehicle after about eight minutes, when an officer hit the van.
Authorities said the 12-year-old has been charged with eluding an officer and unauthorized use of property, and is being detained.
