New England 4th of July fireworks and events

ACTON:
July 2
3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Family Fun Time at NARA Park
7:15 p.m. to 9:25 p.m. – Free concert at NARA Park
9:25 p.m. – Fireworks show at NARA Park

AGAWAM:
Six Flags New England – Coca-Cola Fourth Fest from July 2 to July 4
Free admission to Six Flags New England for active and retired military members with valid ID on all three days.
Friends and family accompanying a military member will be able to enter the park for $39 each (limit of four).
Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. all three nights.

ANDOVER:
July 3
9:25 p.m. – Fireworks at Andover High School (Rain date – July 5)
July 4
8 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast in the Park (Cost: $5)
9:30 a.m. – Horribles Parade begins at Bartlet Street by Doherty Middle School
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Entertainment and games in the park

AUBURN:
July 1 (Rain date – July 2)
5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. – Independence Day Celebration at Dr. Arthur and Dr. Martha Pappas Recreation Complex
9:30 p.m. – Fireworks

BARNSTABLE:
July 4
9 p.m. – Fireworks in Lewis Bay
Viewing locations at Aselton Park, Bismore Park and Veteran’s Park Beach.

BARNSTABLE VILLAGE:
July 4
9 a.m. – Parade down Main Street to the Village Hollow, where various activities will be held.

CENTERVILLE:
July 4
10 a.m. – Parade begins on Bay Lane, ends at Centerville Recreation Building.

CONCORD:
July 4
8:30 a.m. – Youth Fun Run
9 a.m. – 5-mile Minuteman Classic Road Race
11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Picnic in the Park at Emerson Field

COTUIT:
July 4
11 a.m. – Parade begins at Cotuit Post Office, ends at Cotuit Elementary School.

DUXBURY:
July 3
8 a.m .to 12 p.m. – Holiday breakfast at Corner Stone Lodge on Washington Street
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Holiday concert by South Shore Bay Band at Duxbury Senior Center
July 4
8 a.m – Duxbury Education Foundation Children’s Fun Run around Duxbury High School’s track
8:30 a.m. – Duxbury Education Foundation 5K
2 p.m. – 4th of July Parade begins at Halls Corner, ends at Duxbury High School

FITCHBURG:
July 4
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Parade begins on Summer Street and continues to Upper Common.

HAMPTON, N.H.:
July 4
9:30 p.m. – Fireworks at Hampton Beach, between B and C streets.

HAVERHILL:

9:15 p.m. – Fireworks (Rain date – July 5)

HINGHAM:
July 4
7 a.m. – 58th Annual Hingham July 4th Road Race begins at Hingham High School
7 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Kiwanis & Lions Clubs Pancake Breakfast at Hingham Common
10 a.m. – 4th of July Parade begins

HYANNIS:
July 4
2 p.m. – Hyannis Harbor Boat Parade. Viewing along Ocean Street at Hyannis Harbor.
4 p.m. – Parade begins at intersection of Ocean Street and Main Street, finishes at Sea Street.
5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Barnstable Town Band performance at Hyannis Village Green

HYANNISPORT:
July 4
9 a.m. – Road race at Hyannisport Post Office
11 a.m. – Parade begins at Hyannisport Post Office, ends at West Beach Club.

Ward 2 – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Welch School. Patriotic parade starts at 9:15 a.m., with other activities beginning at 9:45 a.m.
Ward 3 – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Connolly Park.

4 p.m. – Kids’ Space opens at Derby Wharf with free games and prizes
5 p.m. – Ditto Band performs on main stage at Derby Wharf
7:15 p.m. – Opening ceremonies featuring the Hillyer Festival Orchestra
9:15 p.m. – Fireworks extravaganza from Derby Wharf

SANDWICH:
July 4
8:30 a.m. – 3-mile Road Race for adults and children (13 years old and under) starts in parking lot at Henry T. Wing School on Water Street
10 a.m. – “Spirit of Sandwich” 4th of July Parade starts in parking lot at Henry T. Wing School on Water Street
12 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Picnic in the park with music by Brian Sances Band
1 p.m. – Water games and The Foam, sponsored by Sandwich Fire Department
7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. – Band concert at Shawme Pond Bandstand
9 p.m. – Boat parade at Shawme Pond

SUDBURY:
July 4
8:30 a.m. – Kids July 4th Road Race, 1.5 miles
9 a.m. – July 4th Road Race, 3.75 miles
1 p.m. – Parade begins at Chiswick Park, ends at Sudbury Town Center.

TAUNTON:
July 1
6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. – Family 4th Night at Hopewell Park. Fireworks show at dusk.

WAKEFIELD:
July 4
7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – Fishing derby for children 2-14 at Lower Common (Registration at 7 a.m.)
8:30 a.m. – Pet parade at Upper Common (Registration for pet show at 8 a.m.)
9 a.m. – Cart, tricycle & scooter parade at Upper Common (Registration at 8:30 a.m.)
10 a.m. – Bicycle parade at Upper Common (Registration at 9:30 a.m.)
11 a.m. – Doll carriage parade at Upper Common (Registration at 10:30 a.m.)
