Officials from the International Fund for Animal Welfare rescued a young seal on Monomoy Island Friday afternoon.
The juvenile gray seal was disentangled on the island by a team of trained responders.
The responders found the injured seal with monofilament netting and were able to capture, assess and disentangle the seal before sending it back into the ocean.
