BOSTON (WHDH) - A storm that swept through Massachusetts overnight left behind plowable snow and slick driving conditions.
The storm hit southern New England around 7 p.m. and lasted until about 10 a.m. when a winter weather advisory for parts of Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk counties ended.
The cold air that was in place overnight created dry, lightweight and fluffy snow, meaning clean up should be easy.
Road conditions were still slick throughout the early morning hours as crews worked to plow the streets.
Several crashes and spinouts were reported across the Bay State, including in Boston where a car collided with a pole.
Drivers were urged to use caution and allow for extra time to travel.
