Police have made arrests after a wild police chase in Los Angeles that included high speeds and dangerous driving maneuvers.

In a chase that took police through surface streets and highways, the purple convertible, which included a driver and a passenger, weaved through traffic, even occasionally doing donuts in parking lots.

At one point, during heavy traffic on a highway, a TMZ tour bus attempted to pin the car in, at which point the passenger of the vehicle apparently threw something at the bus. The car was then able to escape.

The chase lasted for more than an hour before the vehicle, which had suffered significant damage, came to a rest in one neighborhood.

There, crowds gathered and congratulated the driver and passenger, even stopping to take photos with the two, as they waited for police to arrive.

The two were then arrested. The suspects were reportedly wanted for robbery.
