HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Hartford Police are investigating a shooting at a hotel parking lot on New Year’s Eve that left two people injured.
Officials say two men in their 20s were shot at the Residence Inn parking lot on Main Street in Hartford.
Police say they both suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
WTNH-TV reports that both people were shot in their legs.
WFSB-TV reports that police say they believe a party at the hotel became unruly and staff asked the group to leave, then the shooting occurred outside.
Police say the shooting isn’t connected to Hartford’s First Night festivities.
The investigation is ongoing.
