HOLYOKE, Mass. (WHDH) – Police seized 202 bags of heroin at a motor vehicle stop on Hampden Street Wednesday night.

At around 10:10 p.m., police stopped a green Geo Prism for motor vehicle violations. After searching the vehicle, police uncovered the aforementioned bags of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested Deven Moffitt, 23, who was operating the car and charged him with being present where heroin is kept, conspiracy to violate the drug law and possession to distribute a class A drug.

He was transported to the State Police Barracks in Northampton.

Two passengers in the vehicle—Cheri Lizotte, 20, and Kristen Gables, 21—were charged with possession to distribute a class A drug/heroin, knowingly being present where heroin was kept and conspiracy to violate the drug law.
