EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Police say a Connecticut woman stabbed her boyfriend during a fight before breaking his cellphone and making off with his car.

The Hartford Courant reports that 37-year-old Kristen Solis, of East Hartford, was charged Sunday with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and third-degree larceny.

Police say Solis stabbed her boyfriend in the chest and leg with a kitchen knife, then smashed his phone and left the home in his car.

Police found the victim at a nearby KFC where he had gone for help. He was taken to the hospital.

Police are considering charging the boyfriend because Solis was also injured.

Solis was held on $75,000 bond pending a Tuesday court appearance. Her case was not listed in online court records and it was unclear if she had a lawyer.
