It’s a traditional Italian dish that one Massachusetts family has been making for decades! But this spinach and meat calzone has a little extra surprise.
Ingredients and directions:
Start with rolling out the dough. Then add 4 slices of ham, 5 or 6 slices of mortadella, then 5 or 6 slices of salami. Sprinkle a little bit of grated American cheese. Then, it’s a handful of diced tomatoes, black olives and mushrooms. Add the spinach mix (which is a secret!) Then top it with sliced onions and spices (salt pepper and oregano) a handful or two of mozzarella cheese, and then close it up. Cook it in the oven for 7 to 10 min until the color is good and we are done!
