A fire that struck a Sudbury home on Tuesday has been ruled an arson. 

The State Fire Marshal’s Office has ruled blaze at 4 Brooks Rd. an arson. 

Sudbury firefighters say they believe somebody broke into the single-family home before the fire. Nobody was home when the fire started. 

The family’s cat died in the fire and the blaze caused $350,000 in damage.

The fire department is asking anybody with knowledge of the incident to call Sudbury Police at 978-443-1042. 

Also, a $5,000 reward is being offered for information that helps solve the case.
