Scott Weiland, the former lead singer for the Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, has died.

His manager confirmed the 48-year-old passed away Thursday night, and there are reports he was found on his tour bus.

Weiland struggled for years with substance abuse problems.

He was in Minnesota, where his current band was set to play last night.
