Stop and Shop grocery stores have issued a voluntary recall of granola bars potentially impacted by a recent listeria outbreak.

The company says the recall is being performed out of an abundance of caution.

The recall impacts Own Brands Sweet & Salty ALMOND Chewy Granola Bars. Though the chain is pulling all of the bars from shelves, only those with a Best By Date of December 07 2016 are impacted.

The products recalled were supplied by TreeHouse Private Brands and were created on the same production lines as sunflower seeds that could have potentially be contaminated with listeria.

Stop and Shop says customers may return the items to any store for a full refund.
