Police in Stoughton are searching for a man in connection with an armed home invasion.
According to investigators, the suspect broke into the home armed with a gun.
The invasion happened around 9 a.m. on Wednesday on Canton Street.
A 22-year-old man was inside at the time. He said he heard someone breaking the glass on a back door and called police.
The suspect then ran away. He was wearing a mask when he pointed a gun at the man inside the home. No shots were fired.
Police say the suspect left the scene in a tan car.
Police do not believe this was a random act.
The investigation is ongoing.
