New surveillance video showing the scene from last month’s deadly stabbing rampage in Taunton has been released.

The footage obtained by the NBC station in Providence shows suspect Alex Darosa inside the Silver City Galleria Mall, where part of the stabbing took place. The video, filmed from inside the jewelry department in Macy’s, shows Darosa punch a store employee and then shove a second woman before he runs off. The employee was taken to the hospital and is now OK.

After Macy’s, Darosa ran into the Bertucci’s, where he stabbed waitress Sheenah Savoy and diner George Heath, who died as he tried to help Savoy. Before Darosa went to the mall, he attacked a mother and daughter at their house on Myricks Street in Taunton. Patricia Slavin died and her daughter Kathleen was seriously injured.

Darosa was shot and killed at Bertucci’s by an off-duty sheriff’s deputy who happened to be at the restaurant.

The district attorney’s office declined to comment on the video, saying the attacks are still under investigation.
