Two people were hospitalized and a suspect is in custody following a hit-and-run in Cambridge on Wednesday.
Police say there was an altercation between the two people prior to the hit-and-run.
A third person was hit by a firearm and located along with the victim who was dragged by the suspect’s car.
A firearm was discarded out of a vehicle matching the description provided by witnesses and was recovered by officers in the area of Allston and Pleasant streets.
The incident happened around 8 a.m. on Pearl Street.
The injuries to both victims are believed to be non-life threatening.
The suspect has been identified as Joekeem Nelson, 20 of Cambridge.
He is being charged with armed assault to murder, possession of a firearm or ammunition without FID card and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The identities of the victims, both men, are not being released.
