BARNSTABLE, MASS. (WHDH) - Twin boys born on Cape Cod have a strange twist with their birth, as the boy born first is actually younger than the other.

Ronan and Samuel Peterson were born early Sunday morning when daylight savings time went into effect. Samuel was born first, at 1:39 a.m. Ronan arrived 31 minutes later at 2:10 a.m. but because of daylight savings time, his birth time became 1:10 a.m. Technically, Ronan is older than Samuel.

“I thought I was in the twilight zone,” said mother Emily Peterson. She and her husband Seth are also parents to a 2-year-old girl, Aubrey.

The Petersons said they are glad their twin boys both arrived healthy and happy.
