CHELSEA, MASS. (WHDH) - Two teenagers were taken to the hospital after police said they were both stabbed Friday afternoon.

According to the Chelsea Fire Department, the stabbing happened in the area of Everett Avenue and Maple Street. Police said they were called to the scene at around 2:40 p.m. because of reports of a fight.

The two victims suffered stab wounds to the abdomen and were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. One of the victims is in critical, but stable, condition. Police did not have an update on the second victim but said he was initially reported as stable as well.

Both victims are students at Chelsea High School.

The Rockport and Newburyport Commuter Rail lines were delayed as a result of heavy police activity but are currently back in service.

No weapon was recovered and police said they are looking for at least one suspect.
