BULLARD, TEXAS (NBC) — Police conform they have found the body of a missing Texas girl.
Police say the body of 10-year-old Kayla Gomez was found Saturday night along a highway in Bullard, which is about 25 miles south of Tyler.
Kayla was last seen around 7:30 p.m. CT Tuesday night after a prayer service at her church.
An amber alert was issued Wednesday.
Police also confirm Kayla’s uncle is responsible, but no other details surrounding her death or disappearance have been released.
