The owner of a Wayland pizza shop is facing charges for allegedly recruiting women to have sex with married men in exchange for cash.

Michael Giakoumakis, 65, who owns the Liberty Pizza shop, is facing charges for allegedly asking a former 19-year-old female employee to have sex with married men, according to court records. Giakoumakis allegedly said he would pay the former worker.

Giakoumakis is facing charges of sex for a fee.

Court documents say Giakoumakis told  the former employee he would pay her hundreds to have sex with married men who were seeking a short "vacation" from their families.

The victim reported the incident to police.

According to court records, Giakoumakis told the victim two Framingham State University students paid for their education by performing similar acts.

Since the shop has close ties to the community, Wayland Police asked the Lincoln Police Department to help with the investigation.
